Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Animal Science, or related field preferred
- Previous quality assurance or food safety experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SQF, FDA, and food safety regulations
- Experience managing audits, inspections, and compliance programs
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in computer and recordkeeping skills


Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a food processing company seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Manager to oversee food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance programs.

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for maintaining HACCP and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, managing internal and external audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. This individual will work closely with production and management teams to maintain product quality, investigate quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of food safety and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will provide leadership in employee training, quality systems management, documentation, and compliance while serving as a key member of the management team.
