Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified Farmer's Right-Hand Man for a progressive and highly developed farming operation located in Montana. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys modern production agriculture, takes pride in equipment and facilities, and wants to become an important long-term part of a well-established operation.

This is a working role alongside ownership. The employer is looking for a dependable "right-hand" type of employee who can take ownership, stay engaged, think ahead, and help keep daily operations moving efficiently.

The operation consists of irrigated and dryland crop production along with a smaller cattle component. Crops include spring wheat, malt barley, canola, alfalfa, and forage production. The farm utilizes modern equipment, advanced irrigation systems, and continues to invest heavily into infrastructure improvements and efficiency.

The operation features an excellent heated shop facility and a very strong lineup of late-model equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate modern farm equipment during planting, spraying, haying, and harvest
• Assist with irrigation systems and pivot management
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Assist with shop organization and equipment preparation
• Help with hauling grain and general seasonal operations
• Assist with ongoing farm improvements, dirt work, and infrastructure projects
• Work independently while also supporting the overall farm team
• Step into leadership/support responsibilities when ownership is away

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Strong equipment operating experience
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience with modern production agriculture
• Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Integrity, initiative, and long-term interest
• Willingness to work hard during busy seasons while maintaining professionalism year-round
