Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hydraulic and mechanical equipment maintenancec

- Experience with forage/hay pressing and packaging production lines is highly preferred.

- Proficient in using various maintenance and diagnostic tools.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.
- Valid welding certification or technician license is required.
- Ability to proficiently operate forklifts, loaders, and trucks; relevant operating licenses and certifications are a strong plus.
- Familiar with OSHA and local industrial safety standards and regulations.
- Strong emergency repair and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Proven ability to accurately maintain equipment maintenance logs and records.
- Strong sense of responsibility with excellent execution, communication, and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Clean background check.
- Comfortable working in an agricultural manufacturing environment, including dust and heat.
- Able to adapt to the seasonal schedules and workload variations typical of the agribusiness industry.
- Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Job Description:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a progressive agricultural operation seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee facility, infrastructure, equipment, and production line maintenance. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections and maintenance of plant buildings, facilities, fencing, streetlights, and onsite roadways while establishing and executing preventative maintenance plans. The Maintenance Manager will develop inspection and maintenance schedules for production equipment, perform daily checks, planned servicing, and emergency repairs to ensure optimal production line uptime and equipment stability. This position requires maintaining a strong safety and fire hazard awareness by conducting safety training, behavioral observations, hazard elimination, and routine servicing of safety equipment to eliminate fire and compliance risks. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and repair core production line components and possess extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical drive structures, including hydraulic line debugging and replacement of wear parts. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting basic electrical and PLC systems in a 480V industrial environment, performing onsite welding to repair equipment cracks or fabricate tools as needed, operating and performing basic fault diagnosis and maintenance on forklifts, water trucks, yard trucks (semi-trucks), loaders, and other yard vehicles, and managing site optimization and new construction projects from initiation through final delivery, ensuring full-lifecycle project management.
