Three Ohio agricultural leaders will join the 2026 Farm Science Review Hall of Fame, recognizing decades of contributions that helped grow FSR into a major agricultural event.

Each year, the Farm Science Review (FSR) draws more than 100,000 visitors from across the U.S. and Canada to central Ohio, showcasing advancements in agricultural research, technology, and education. The event’s continued growth is the result of decades of dedication from individuals who have helped expand its reach and impact.

In 2026, three such contributors—Joseph “Joe” Cornely, Dan Fanger, and David Greer—will be inducted into the Farm Science Review Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place June 10 at the FSR Recognition Banquet in Plain City, ahead of the annual event scheduled for September 22–24 at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio.

Established in 1990, the Hall of Fame honors individuals whose work has significantly supported the development of the event, hosted by The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES). Since its start in 1963, FSR has grown into a major three-day agricultural showcase, featuring more than 600 exhibitors across 80 acres, along with 600 acres dedicated to field demonstrations and crop management practices.

This year’s honorees collectively represent more than a century of service to Ohio agriculture. “Each of these honorees has been a trusted partner to Farm Science Review in very different but equally important ways, from telling our story across Ohio, to strengthening relationships with exhibitors, to welcoming visitors to the Gwynne Conservation Area year after year,” said Nick Zachrich, FSR manager. “Their dedication has helped make the show what it is today, and we’re honored to recognize them in the Hall of Fame.”

Cornely built a long career in agricultural communications, sharing farm-related information through radio, print, and digital platforms. Fanger contributed to agricultural equipment marketing and played a key role in exhibitor relations. Greer supported conservation education through his work at the Gwynne Conservation Area and as a volunteer tour guide.

Together, their efforts have helped shape FSR into one of the nation’s leading agricultural events. Tickets to the 2026 edition of FSR will be available July on the FSR website at https://fsr.osu.edu/.
