Ohalo has appointed Justin Wolfe as President and Chief Operating Officer. Wolfe joins the agricultural technology company from Syngenta, where he most recently served as President of Global Seeds and brings more than 30 years of experience in the global seed industry.
In his new role, Wolfe will lead Ohalo’s commercial operations and help expand the company’s Boosted® seed business worldwide. His initial focus will be supporting the commercialization of Ohalo’s true potato seed technology and advancing the company’s growing portfolio of crop innovations.
Ohalo’s Boosted Potato hybrids are designed to increase yields, reduce production costs, and lower pest and disease risks for growers. The company is also expanding its breeding platform into other crops, including almonds and strawberries.
Prior to joining Ohalo, Wolfe led Syngenta’s global seed business, overseeing commercial activities, research and development, breeding, production, regulatory affairs, and operations. Earlier in his career, he spent two decades at Monsanto in leadership roles across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Founded in 2019, Ohalo develops breeding technologies and improved plant varieties aimed at helping farmers increase productivity, strengthen crop resilience, and produce more food using fewer resources.
