Media ArticleThe Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association (IFCA) has appointed Jenny Webb as its new president, effective July 20. Webb joins the organization after serving in leadership roles at the Illinois Farm Bureau, where she gained extensive experience in agricultural policy, industry relations, and leadership development.
As president, Webb will oversee IFCA's efforts to support and represent Illinois' crop production supply and service industry. She will work with members, industry partners, and policymakers to advance advocacy, education, regulatory support, and stewardship initiatives.
Webb brings a strong background in stakeholder engagement, public policy, and strategic collaboration within the agriculture and food sectors. During her tenure at the Illinois Farm Bureau, she managed statewide programs and helped strengthen partnerships among agricultural businesses, academic institutions, and industry organizations.
IFCA represents approximately 1,000 businesses and individuals involved in Illinois' crop production supply industry. Its membership includes agricultural retailers, fertilizer and agrichemical manufacturers, distributors, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
Governed by a 15-member board of directors, the association supports the industry through legislative advocacy, regulatory assistance, safety training, professional development, and stewardship programs. IFCA also works with national industry organizations and hosts major events, including the Winter Convention and Trade Show and the Midwest Ag Industries Exposition (MAGIE).
The executive search for the position was conducted by Kincannon & Reed, a leadership and executive search firm serving the agriculture and food sectors.
