Media ArticleADM has appointed Jeff Rowe as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective August 17, 2026. The newly created role is intended to strengthen the company's leadership structure and support its long-term growth strategy.
In his new position, Rowe will oversee ADM's commercial businesses, global manufacturing operations, and research and development activities. He will work closely with the executive leadership team to advance the company's business and innovation goals.
Rowe joins ADM from Syngenta Group, where he most recently served as Chief Executive Officer. Since joining the company in 2016, he held several senior leadership roles and helped drive innovation, sustainability initiatives, and technology adoption across the agriculture sector.
Before Syngenta, Rowe spent more than 20 years at DuPont Pioneer. During his tenure, he held leadership positions in strategy, biotechnology, regulatory affairs, and international operations.
In addition to his corporate experience, Rowe is a fifth-generation farmer based in Illinois. He is involved in regenerative agriculture practices focused on improving sustainability, productivity, and environmental performance.
Rowe holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from Iowa State University, a Juris Doctor from Drake Law School, and a Global Executive MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and the London School of Economics. His extensive experience is expected to support ADM's continued growth across the global agriculture and nutrition industries.
