About the role

This full-time, permanent role plays a key role in growing our Rural Products business in Wickepin and would suit an energetic, team-player that has experience in a similar role or is ready to take the next step in their career.

As an Elders Rural Products Sales Manager, your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new opportunities for them to explore. You are also a strong leader with demonstrated people management and merchandise operational skills. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.

Responsibilities

As a key member and leader within the branch, you will enjoy a varied day including:
  • Develop and manage merchandise business plans and budgets
  • Leading a merchandise sales team
  • Realising genuine growth opportunities and driving merchandise arm of the business
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, recommending the Elders range of products and services that will strengthen the growth of their business
  • Management of inventory, stock turns, debtor management, procurement and supply chain terms, and supporting core ranging strategies
  • Manage the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock
  • Proactively source new business to grow market share
