An established agribusiness is seeking an experienced Area Head of Sales to lead and develop commercial activity across a defined region in Poland. This is a senior, field focused role with responsibility for driving sales performance, leading a regional sales team, and executing commercial strategy at area level.
The successful candidate will translate national commercial objectives into effective regional action plans, build strong customer relationships, and deliver sustainable revenue and margin growth across the assigned area.
The Role
- Lead and execute the regional commercial plan in line with national strategy
- Deliver annual sales targets for volume, value, margin, and market share
- Manage and develop a team of Sales Representatives, ensuring strong performance and capability growth
- Drive customer engagement across key accounts including distributors, grower groups, and strategic partners
- Lead regional pricing execution and ensure commercial competitiveness
- Oversee the planning and execution of field trials, demonstrations, and promotional activities
- Track sales forecasts, pipeline development, and performance metrics
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends, translating insights into local actions
- Act as a senior regional representative at customer events, trade fairs, and industry meetings
The Candidate
- Proven agricultural sales leader with strong commercial instincts
- Experience in seeds, arable crops, or wider agribusiness preferred
- Comfortable managing teams, key accounts, and regional strategy
- Strong knowledge of the Polish agricultural market
- Confident, credible, and customer focused
- Fluent Polish with strong English; full driving licence
