Job Description
Our client, a leading agribusiness in Ontario is seeking an experienced Sales Agronomist to support and advise progressive growers to acheive their long-term goals. This agribusiness is located in Southwestern Ontario.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply your agronomic expertise in the field, scouting, sampling and using data to deliver confident insight-driven recommendations
- Be a technical resource for your team and a trusted advisor for growers
- Use your experience and persepctive to influence seasonal execution, service improvements and the future direction of the bsuiness
- Deepen customer relationships and oncover new value-createing opportunities with your customers
- Build and execute crop plans that integrate seed, crop protection and fertility to help your growers to acheive their long-term goals
DESIRED PROFILE:
- 5-10+ years of exepriecne building relationships and creating value in agronomy or agricultural sales
- Strong agronomic expertise and a passion for helping growers succeed
- Certified Crop Advisor designation an asset, but not required
- Strong communication skills
