Our client, a livestock nutrition manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and driven Dairy Sales Specialist to join their team in Southwestern Ontario. The Dairy Sales Specialist will be responsible for supporting existing customers and identifying new bsuiness opportunities in the dairy industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing customers
• Promote products and services to meet producer needs
• Prospect and develop new dairy feed customers
• Provide technical support related to feed products and usage
• Complete ration balancing using software in collaboration with the nutrition team
• Monitor account activity and support customer retention
• Attend industry events and organize producer meetings
• Develop sales plans, forecasts, budgets and maintain accurate CRM documentation

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agribusiness or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to travel independently to customer sites, industry events and company locations
• Knowledge of the Canadian ruminant industry
• Previous sales experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
