Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry Analytics Senior Scientist 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry  Analytics Senior Scientist are to:

 

  •  Lead the technical effort to develop/validate/implement bioanalytical methods for protein/small molecules characterization and quantitation on Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometers (LCMS) platforms in a timely manner;
  •  Maintain and perform advanced troubleshooting of complex LCMS using scientific background to address technical challenges;
  •  Maintain laboratory compliance with safety regulations;
  •  Create and maintain comprehensive laboratory documentation;
  •  Have familiarity with regulatory guidelines for bioanalysis and experience working in a regulated environment;
  •  Apply state of art know how to solve complex problem in Mass Spectrometry field.

Required Qualifications:

 

  •  Master of Science with at least eight years  biochemistry and/or analytical chemistry field experience, or Ph.D. with at least four years  relevant experience;
  •  Proven experience and abilities in technical leadership and development which may or may not include supervising people in a cross functional environment with internal and external customers;
  • Proven experience in the development of quantitative LCMS methods and processing strategies for proteins/small molecules from various matrices (such as either crop, animal, buffer, and/or other related area);
  • Strong communication and networking skills to ensure productive interaction with key customers.

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

 

  •  Experience and knowledge in global regulatory requirements for Biotech  product submission.
