Position SummaryThis position requires an individual with strong ruminant nutrition, feed additive technical support, and practical beef and dairy production experience. The role is aligned with broad regional and global organizational objectives and works closely with commercial, technical, and research stakeholders to support growth and commercialization of ADM Animal Nutrition solutions across the APAC region.

Goals and progress are reviewed with the department manager on a quarterly basis through formal discussions and presentations. The position is part of the ADM Animal Nutrition CD&D APAC technical team and involves significant face-to-face engagement with customers, sales teams, and industry influencers. The role requires frequent collaboration with other CD&D colleagues, Sales (FA&I, Premix), Commercial Feeds, Marketing, and R&D to support ADM-wide solutions across Asia-Pacific markets.

The position requires approximately 50% travel, primarily within APAC. The role will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.Direct Business Support (Approx. 50% Travel)
  • Interact directly with customers, including ruminant nutritionists, veterinarians, farm managers, consultants, and commercial teams, to identify needs and deliver value-added technical solutions.
  • Support ADM's sales and commercialization efforts by translating technical capabilities into customer-relevant recommendations using the full ADM technology portfolio.
  • Actively participate in regional conferences, seminars, customer meetings, workshops, and trade events to strengthen ADM's technical and market leadership in beef and dairy nutrition.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales teams to support new business development, account growth, and customer retention.
  • Participate in internal regional and global technical and commercial meetings.
Office-Based and Regional Technical Support
  • Cooperate with ruminant customers, prospects, industry influencers, regional sales teams, marketing, and research via in-person and virtual engagement.
  • Lead and contribute to technical projects, customer trials, and solution development focused on beef and dairy systems relevant to APAC markets.
  • Evaluate and support new business and growth opportunities across feed additives, premix, and commercial feed segments.
  • Adapt global technical content and strategies to regional production systems, regulatory environments, and market needs.
Other Responsibilities
  • Train and support ADM colleagues to strengthen technical capabilities, product knowledge, and customer engagement skills across the APAC organization.
  • Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the FA&I portfolio including phytogenics, yeast and yeast derivatives, organic trace minerals, enzymes, direct-fed microbials, amino acids, and functional ingredients.
  • Build and maintain strong networks with ADM technical, commercial, and research teams globally.
  • Support ADM's technical leadership through technical writing, presentations, training materials, and publications.
  • Design, coordinate, and execute application research and customer validation trials relevant to beef and dairy production in APAC.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or a closely related field, with a strong focus on ruminant (beef and/or dairy) nutrition.
  • Deep understanding of feed additives, premix concepts, and practical feed formulation.
  • Demonstrated experience in beef and/or dairy production systems, ideally within APAC.
  • Strong customer-facing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting commercial teams and sales-driven technical activities is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time across the APAC region.
  • Proficiency in English required; additional regional language capability is a plus.
