This role will directly report to the Director Credit EMEA.Your Responsibilities

Handling of documentary business of bank guarantees
Supporting internal stakeholders in processing bank guarantees
Acting as point of contact for banks on questions around ADM's documentary business in EMEA
Monitoring counterparty and country risk
Performing credit assessments of new customers, reviewing and updating existing credit limits
Close cooperation with commercial teams about credit limit assessment and payment behavior of customers
Obtaining and evaluating/analyzing customer information, balance sheets, and securities
Documenting/Maintaining records of the steps taken in the GetPaid credit system
Follow-up on payment plans and bad debts
Covering of reporting obligations
Acting as point of contact for internal and external partners on credit related questions

Your Profile

Banking, commercial or administrative apprenticeship; Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Controlling, Finance or another relevant eld
Several years work experience preferable in international trade, the food producing industry or a bank
Knowledge of processing and handling bank guarantees and Swift
A degree as Certified Demand Guarantee Specialist, Certied Credit Manager or Certied Credit Controller, is an advantage
A very precise, well-structured, responsible working attitude paired with an analytic mindset
Assertive, target-driven and autonomous work approach
Good problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to deal with stressful situations
Good communication and team working skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Fluent command of written and spoken English; good German or further language skills would be a plus
