Senior Accountant (9 months contract)

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Ensure accurate and timely reporting for management and statutorypurposes while maintaining a system of robust internal controls for ADM.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain full setof financial records for multiple entities, including Balance SheetReconciliation in compliance with local accounting standard and US GAAP;

• Ensure compliancecan adherence to ADM policies and procedures;

• Data entrymanagement using Microsoft Dynamics NAV and support new implementation ofaccounting systems where applicable.

• Support Finance Managerfor monthly closing activities for ADM Vietnam, including preparation / postingof entries, reconciliation of accounts etc.;

• Independentlymanage month-end closing activities, including preparation/posting of entries,reconciliation of accounts, as well as reviewing of work performed by otherteam members for smaller entities.

• Support accountspayable / receivable functions and reviewing of work performed by other teammembers for smaller entities;

• Assist in accurateand timely filing of statutory accounts and tax filing, including VAT and WHT; andresponsible for accurate and timely statutory and tax filings for smallerentities.

• Work closely withinternal and external stakeholders to address issues/concerns

• Assist infacilitation of audits and tax filings

• Other ad-hocactivities, as required

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
At least 3 years-experience with 1 year as general accountant
Good English in both verbal and written
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Power BI is a plus
Proactive, hardworking, detail-oriented, andcareful. Able to work under pressure, especially during initial systemtransition and month-end peak
