ADM Animal Nutrition, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company, is a leading manufacturing, nutrition, and marketing business offering a wide range of innovative products for the animal nutrition market. With the recent addition of Crosswind Industries, Inc. along with its subsidiary corporations, including Crosswind Foods, Inc., ADM has grown its manufacturing capabilities and built upon an already expansive portfolio of products and services. We have a Packager opening on nights at our Topeka, Kansas production facility.

Sanitation Technician (2nd shift) - Topeka, Kansas
ADM Animal Nutrition
This is an hourly position.


Position Summary:

The role of the Sanitation Technician is responsible for the following duties:

  1. Perform, evaluate and prioritize daily, weekly and monthly sanitation / housekeeping duties.
  2. Maintain Master Sanitation Schedules.
  3. Communicate with other employees to schedule the cleaning of equipment and production areas between runs.
  4. Responsibility to identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.
  5. Work in the most effective, efficient and safe manner at all times.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:
  1. Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent
  3. Mechanically inclined and capable of using common hand tools.
  4. Ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner.
  5. Capability of lifting 50 pounds above head without difficulty.
Training Required
  1. Annual Training
  2. On-the-Job Training
  3. Safety Training
  4. Chemical Handling and Usage Training


Relocation assistance is not available with this position.

ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
