What would be your key responsibilities

Conducting analyses of volatile compounds in beverage, confectionery, and culinary samples, as well as special projects in the Analytical Flavor Insight department
Sample preparation, analysis, and data interpretation (GC-FID-MS, GCO, NMR)
Developing methods for qualitative and quantitative GC-MS and NMR analyses
Independently performing maintenance & hardware troubleshooting on instruments
Working closely with the Flavor Creation, as well as other Analytical and R&D teams within the ADM global network

What will make you successful

You have a bachelor's or master's degree or a PhD in food chemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, or a related field, and you already have professional experience
Practical experience in GC, GC-MS, and NMR analysis and the characterization of volatile substances. Experience in flavor or fragrance analysis would be a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experienced with instrument software for analytical systems and MS data analysis software
You are detail oriented in your way of working and enjoy taking the initiative
As a team player with strong communication skills, you enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
Valid work permit for Germany
