PD&A Lab Technician

Main responsibilities:

Support the execution of laboratory trials focused on product characterization, shelf-life assessment, validation of manufacturing conditions, and the optimization and validation of new functional food and beverage applications, using microbiological and molecular biology techniques.
Conduct critical analysis of experimental results using appropriate software tools, and prepare well-supported conclusions for each study, covering both internal and customer projects.
Prepare detailed progress reports on laboratory trials, including sections on the state of the art, objectives, materials and methods, results, and conclusions.
Contribute to the maintenance of the laboratory management system, ensuring proper execution of daily tasks, equipment maintenance, and sample inventory management for strategic projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in laboratory and pilot-scale facilities.

Qualification and experience:

Higher degree of Laboratory Technician
2-3 years of proven experience working with food supplement dosage formats or products in the Food & Beverage or Feed industry. Previous experience in R&D, particularly in projects related to bacterial characterization or application, will be valued.
Knowledge in Microbiology and Molecular biology techniques.
Medium level of English: reading, writing, speaking
