Your Responsibilities:

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior STF Executive in Gurugram India.

The Junior Executive will be in charge of handing trades related to structures, he or she will in particular handle proprietary, customer solution & FX transactions from the 2 different regions (Asia, EMEA).

This is key role as STF business is very documents driven, and it will entail a strong collaboration with other STF team members (Origination, distribution and Customer Solution), but also other key stakeholders within ADM organization and its business units. The ideal candidate will need to be able to grasp the multiple dimensions of STF structures to apply them on specific transaction. He or She will also be following the Standard Operation Procedure that been created for STF.

The Main duties of the role will be:
  • Managing end to end execution of Structured Trade Finance (STF) transactions and customer solutions, including but not limited to preparation of contracts and other deal related documents & payments processing
  • Processing of payments through various banking platforms for STF transactions conducted globally, including receivables financing settlements, and foreign exchange (FX) payments.
  • Execute STF transactions in line with approved PAF and adhering to standard operating procedures/ guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate records in internal systems, proper filing of relevant documents on shared drive, and handling day-to-day administrative requirements such as printing, scanning, document execution, and courier arrangements, as required
  • Work closely with counterparties and internal stakeholders on the deal execution in orderly fashion
  • Liaise with banking partners to ensure all trade-related documentation is completed accurately and that transactions are settled smoothly at maturity.
  • Assist with operational reporting, data management, and process improvements to support the efficient running of the STF business.
Key Results-
  • Error free execution of structure trades & customer solution trades.
  • Maintain good relationship with Corporate and Banks and other functional departments within ADM (treasury, hedge desk, accounting, Finance, legal, trade execution, audit team etc.)
Your Profile:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate preferably with CDCS
  • 2-4 Years Max in financial institution or corporate, preferably with trade finance exposure.
  • Good communication Skills
  • Good understanding of letter of credit/Bank Guarantee/Collection/Receivable finance
  • Good understanding of UCP600, ISBP and Incoterms.
  • Strong Excel skills

Ownership & Accountability
  • Develop a thorough understanding of relevant STF structures through PAF reviews including the key risks and controls associated with each structure, and relevant tax & legal implications. Ensure complete understanding of transaction specifics, including data integrity, documentation, and settlement processes as well as the attributes of the relevant market and geography. Assist other team members in obtaining a deeper understanding of structures and processes through informal, on-the-job training opportunities.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer solution and receivable fianc products.
  • Facilitate innovation and work process improvements through idea generation and applying of business knowledge.
