The Head of Digital Engineering, India is ADM's India execution and scale leader, accountable for engineering delivery capacity, velocity, and quality across Digital & Technology.

This role builds and runs ADM's India digital hub as a global execution engine-delivering Finance products, AI capabilities, and enterprise digital engineering at scale-while acting as site leader for talent attraction, retention, and leadership development.

Your Responsibilities

India as a Global Execution Engine
  • Own end-to-end engineering execution from India across Finance products, AI platforms, and priority enterprise digital products.
  • Scale India from ~80 to ~160 engineers by 2026 with predictable delivery, high quality, and strong bench strength.
  • Ensure India contributes materially to ADM's digital outcomes-not supplemental capacity.
Finance & AI Product Delivery
  • Build and scale 2-3 core Finance products in partnership with Product leaders.
  • Lead India's contribution to AI build across GT and the business, including data pipelines, ML engineering enablement, and applied AI use cases.
  • Ensure delivery meets enterprise standards, security expectations, and measurable business outcomes.
Engineering Quality, Speed, and Accountability
  • Enforce engineering standards, delivery discipline, and quality bars across India teams.
  • Own staffing decisions for squads, delivery commitments, and engineering performance.
  • Actively remove delivery friction, skills gaps, and underperformance.
Talent, Leadership & Site Ownership
  • Serve as India site leader for Digital & Technology.
  • Build a strong leadership layer (Directors, Senior Managers, Chapter Leads).
  • Own talent attraction, retention, engagement, and succession for India engineering.
  • Partner with HR on early-career pipelines, lateral hiring, and leadership development.
Enterprise Partnership
  • Partner closely with VP Product, VP Digital Factory, VP Data & AI, Enterprise Architecture, Tech Ops, and CISO.
  • Represent India delivery transparently with US and global leaders-clear commitments, clear risks, no surprises.

  • India scale: 160 engineers with stable leadership and low regretted attrition
  • Delivery: 2-3 Finance products live with adoption and business ownership
  • AI impact: Measurable GT and business AI capabilities delivered from India
  • Velocity & quality: Improved cycle time, fewer escaped defects, predictable delivery
  • Talent: Strong leadership bench; India viewed as a destination hub, not a cost center
Your Profile
  • 15+ years leading large-scale digital or software engineering teams
  • Proven experience scaling technology hubs in India
  • Strong delivery background across enterprise platforms and digital products
  • Senior-level stakeholder management with global teams
  • Deep people leadership and talent-building experience
  • Finance product or enterprise systems experience
  • AI / data-enabled product delivery exposure
  • Experience operating in a product-led engineering model
  • Multi-region enterprise delivery environments
