General Purpose and Scope of Position:

This position would be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities of the INTEGRA seed brand

 

Key Skills and Abilities:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture or related field
  •  Knowledge of seed business and seed production
  • Knowledge in end-to-end seed production processes
  •  Knowledge in seed technology and seed testing protocol and processes
  • Data management and analysis skills

 

Key Personal Attributes:

  • Good communication skills; verbal & written
  • Work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to take initiative to accomplish tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

 

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for maintaining production workflow and quality assurance, meeting production and shipping deadlines
  • Ensure that seed production activities are completed to optimize quality and volumes in accordance with defined standard operating procedures
  • Responsible for managing all the contracts for corn and soybean production
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all third-party conditioners
  • Managing all inventory and supply and ensuring that process and expectations are being met internally
  • Manage and review all seed quality testing protocols, reports, and communication workflow
  • Developing and communicating tasks and objectives to seed team
  • Develops, coordinates, and enforces policies, procedures, and productivity standards
  • Contributing to the long-term strategic planning of the production department to ensure that we can meet demand and face challenges by thoroughly understanding the issues and identifying future trends and their impact on seed production

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $72,900 - $97,180. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.  This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
