General Purpose and Scope of Position: 

The Inventory Control Clerk works directly with the production manager and customer service on customer orders. They take part in month-end inventory, close all work orders, and work with the production manager and customer service to help maintain accurate inventories.

 

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience in any of the following inventory control, work orders, or accounts payable
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
  • Product Knowledge and understanding
  • Experience with an ERP, JDE experience preferred

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

  • Process intercompany transfer work orders
  • Match freight invoices with the proper shipping documents and code the invoices with the proper General Ledger account.
  • Match ingredient invoices received by rail car with the proper receiving documents and purchase order and code the invoices with the proper General Ledger account
  • Spot and release rail cars using the Railroad website
    Process railcar receiving documents
  • Order office and plant supplies as needed
  • Match temporary labor invoices with the proper timecards and code the invoices with the proper General Ledger account
  • Track and report Aquaculture mill operational data
  • Calculate accounts payable accruals during month-end processing
  • Process daily work orders and inventory for fish feed manufacturing. This entails input, reconciliation, and adjustments.  Relieve raw ingredients from inventory, adjust inventory to reconcile work orders and shipment quantities
  • Coordinate the monthly physical inventory and reconciliation process
  • Coordinate with Buhl Plant, when needed, on inventory matters

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position is $19.95 - $26.62 per hour.  Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.  This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
