Vylor has an exciting opportunity for a Category Marketing Manager Corn

The position is primarily responsible for developing and implementing product / portfolio strategies, lifecycle management among corn products, based on customer needs and regional asset strategies to maximize sales, market share, and profit margins for the given products; creating tactical implementations of marketing plan, positioning and demand planning for new product launches and for existing products.

The successful candidate must follow Vylor internal procedures, especially those related to the company''s core values: high ethical standards, respectful people treatment, safety and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the corn product lineup to meet targets.
  • Define and characterize corn products for proper positioning.
  • Develop marketing plans aligned with the FYP initiative to achieve growth goals.
  • Train sales teams on product knowledge and communication to enhance performance with farmers.
  • Collaborate closely with research teams and European corn product managers to manage product lifecycle and advancement.
  • Monitor competitor products and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Pioneer and others.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate testing trials for corn products.
  • Conduct active visits to trials to understand product behavior.
  • Analyze the corn market by segments and utilization, including surfaces, competitors, value, dealers, and farmers.
  • Perform SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities.
  • Propose and guarantee the implementation of action plans to meet sales goals.
  • Develop promotional documentation and technical support materials in coordination with sales agronomists and communication teams.
  • Support sales teams during customer visits, productlaunches, and promotional activities .

Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • A bachelor''s degree in Agricultural Engineering, preferably with a master's degree in marketing.
  • At least five years of experience in the agribusiness industry, with a preference for experience in marketing, product management, development, or commercial functions.
  • Strong knowledge of the seed market and its environment.
  • Understanding of operational planning and product development processes.
  • Ability to create, launch, and manage brands successfully.
  • Strong analytical skills, including market research and economic analysis.
  • Customer-oriented attitude and teamwork skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with experimental statistics.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Travel 40-50% in Turkey.
