Vylor is seeking Sales Excellence Interns to join the Tours Team! This internship will help gain a broad understanding of the business by supporting corporate tours, visitor experiences, intern programs, and special events across the organization. This role provides exposure to multiple functions, leaders, and facilities while developing strong event management, organization, communication, and project coordination skills.
Interns will work closely with the Tours Team to deliver professional experiences for visitors, employees, customers, university groups, and other stakeholders. Through hands-on learning and cross-functional collaboration, interns will build a foundational understanding of the company''s operations and culture while contributing to the success of tours and events.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Tour Coordination
- Assist with planning, organizing, and executing visitor tours and special events.
- Coordinate logistics including schedules, agendas, transportation, meeting spaces, visitor communications, and event materials.
- Support tour-day operations, check-in activities, safety briefings, and attendee management.
- Help maintain detailed project timelines and event plans to ensure smooth execution.
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate tour stops, presenters, and facility visits.
Visitor Experience
- Serve as a professional ambassador for the organization by ensuring visitors have a welcoming and informative experience.
- Communicate with tour participants before and during events.
- Answer questions, assist with wayfinding, and help facilitate positive interactions between visitors and business representatives.
- Support the collection of feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Organization & Project Management
- Track event details, registration information, attendance lists, and planning documents.
- Assist with creating and updating presentations, schedules, communications, and event materials.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure information is communicated clearly across stakeholders.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by the Tours Team.
Business Exposure & Professional Development
- Develop an understanding of multiple business functions through participation in tours, events, and cross-functional interactions.
- Build relationships with employees, leaders, and subject matter experts across the organization.
- Participate in training, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and contribute ideas that enhance the visitor and employee experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business, Event Management, Public Relations, Agricultural Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, professional, and customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience coordinating events, student organizations, campus activities, or customer service initiatives.
- Experience leading groups, presenting information, or facilitating activities.
