You have the opportunity to join our Commercial team as District Sales Manager for the Southeast Region of Mexico.

This role will be based in Chiapas state.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Territory Account Managers team being responsible of performance management and compensation.

  • Manage performance, tracking and communicating deployment plans, resource requirements and leading, training, coaching, motivating and rewarding team members.

  • Provide direction and delegate to their sales team and remove internal and external obstacles to get sales done.

  • Implement the ongoing core values comms and plans in order to keep a healthy and collaborative environment with the team.

  • Recruit, train, develop and guidance of the District Sales Team.

  • Initiate, implement, evaluate and refine a sales plan for the assigned District.

  • Accountable sales volume, market share, penetration, coverage and profit margin through value capture.

  • Accountable to achieve the specific sales goals, utilizing proper resources and expenses; responsible for the development of sales strategies and resource plans which ensure achievement of district objectives.

  • In addition, the DSM has account responsibility for all major regional and/or national accounts assigned to the district.

  • Understand the industry, market chain, local competition actions and build a strong relationship with the main customers and key stakeholders and associations in order to ensure the information and business network.

  • Prospect business opportunities at the region under responsibility, creating strategies to attend the local needs.

  • Control the budget expenses, investments, market access (direct sales/distribution) according to the annual budget.

  • Manage demand forecast, sales accuracy, product availability at branches and delivery to right customers, to achieve our demand forecast target.

  • Implement policies such as: Commercial segmentation, distribution and product stewardship keeping the right to operate and developing a better business strategy.

  • Manage new product introductions in compliance with marketing strategies and objectives.

  • Provide information regarding market dynamics to the corporate marketing group.

  • Identify, prioritize, procure and manage the resources required by the district/region/territory to efficiently and effectively exceed the annual sales plan for each target product. Resources include sales representatives, interns, contract consultants, sales aids, marketing programs, customer meetings, local advertising, public relations efforts, and other like resources.

Requirements:

  • Professional with minimum 5 years of experience with agricultural industry and market.

  • Intermediate English.

  • People Leader experience.

  • Residence or willingness to relocate to Chiapas.

  • Availability for high-frequency travel among the states of Campeche, Mérida, Veracruz, Guerrero, Puebla, Morelos, Tabasco, Oaxaca.

  • Organizational skills, critical thinking, results orientation, team management, and strategic planning will be valued.
