Your Opportunity
As the Commercial Effectiveness Leader, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of sales effectiveness initiatives across the country, including territory planning, salesforce capability development, and customer-focused service programs. Working closely with commercial leaders and field teams, you will drive profitable market share growth, strengthen customer service excellence, and optimize the effectiveness of our sales organization.
Your Challenge
Territory Coverage & Planning
- Develop and implement territory coverage strategies to ensure effective customer and prospect engagement across the country.
- Partner with Sales Managers to identify coverage gaps and optimize customer assignments and field resources.
- Lead territory planning initiatives aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
Sales Capability Development
- Identify development opportunities and design training programs focused on agronomy, product knowledge, selling skills, customer service, and coaching.
- Establish competency frameworks, performance standards, knowledge assessments, and reporting mechanisms to enhance sales force effectiveness.
Digital Sales Excellence
- Drive the adoption of digital tools and practices in alignment with European and country digital strategies.
- Enhance the digital effectiveness of Area Sales Managers and Promoters through technology-enabled solutions.
Customer Services & Commercial Programs
- Deploy and leverage service offerings that strengthen customer relationships and support commercial objectives.
- Support initiatives such as Commitment-to-Buy programs, soil testing services, and other value-added customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of 5-year strategies for territory coverage, customer services, and sales force development.
- Drive annual tactical plans aligned with European commercial effectiveness processes.
- Allocate resources across sales support functions to maximize sales growth, market share, profitability, and customer impact.
- Represent Corteva with key external stakeholders and industry partners.
- Ensure successful execution of product, portfolio, and go-to-market strategies within the country.
- Coach, mentor, and develop field teams and promoters.
- Continuously improve tools, processes, and capabilities related to go-to-market strategy, distribution, account management, sales negotiations, program management, product launches, demand generation, and channel management.
- Ensure relevant data is transformed into actionable insights and shared effectively to support informed business decisions and improved sales performance.
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
- Bachelor''s degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field; MSc or PhD preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience within agriculture.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent digital proficiency.
- Fluent in both Polish and English.
- Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
- Customer-focused professional with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Results-driven, proactive, and highly motivated.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel within Poland and internationally as required.
