We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Des Moines, Iowa location.
The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Responsibilities include managing calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, maintaining records, preparing reports and correspondence, responding to inquiries, and supporting departmental projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
What You Will Do:
Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
Process expense reports and reimbursement requests
Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives
Accurately review and process expense reports, budgets, and invoices to identify any potential risks or opportunities
Maintain, coordinate, and schedule travel arrangements, meetings, calendar invitations, conference rooms, catering, etc.
Compose and proofread correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, reports, documents, etc.
Establish and maintain appropriate reports, files, and other related document management, activities as needed
Actively participate or assist with company functions, committees, and teams
Various other duties as assigned
Education:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent
What Skills You Need:
- You possess a minimum of three (3) years of administrative assistant experience
- You have a valid US Driver's License
- You can work independently as well as in a team environment
- You are comfortable with technology and possess excellent computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required
- You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- You have high attention to detail can multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and have excellent problem-solving skills
- You are customer service orientated and comfortable interacting with both internal and external customers as a representative of Corteva
- You uphold health and safety to the highest standard! You consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field
- Knowledge or experience with ADP
Work Authorization and Relocation:
- This position does NOT offer a comprehensive domestic relocation benefit package
- VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position
Work Location:
- This is a hybrid position, which requires employees are expected work approximately 60% on-site at the designated Corteva location and may work up to 40% remotely
