Clarke a leading provider of solutions for the public health mosquito control market is seeking to hire a Product Manager to create and execute a customer focused, multi-year, strategic plan for its mosquito control products.

 

The Product Manager will provide cross functional leadership, coordination of activities across functions, and the management of all aspects of their assigned product portfolio, including end-to-end product stewardship, supply planning, demand forecasting, registration timelines, launch planning and execution, guiding product development and defining relevant market research.

 

This position is perfect for a visionary and strategic thinker who is capable of working across diverse teams as we bring innovative tools and solutions to the global public health mosquito control industry and market.

 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You will report to the V.P. of Marketing and will work with a collaborative and cross-functional team of coworkers from our marketing, sales, product development, regulatory, finance, supply chain and manufacturing teams.   You will be a pivotal leader - bringing together team members and leaders from these functional areas to ensure the development of sound strategy and effective execution in the management of products throughout their lifecycle.  Your work will include providing stewardship and guidance to ensure the successful development and launch of new chemistries and next generational technologies for the global mosquito control market.

This position will be based out of our location in beautiful St. Charles, IL.  Some travel (approximately 30%) should be expected.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 5-10 years in sales, marketing, branding or product management in pesticides, agricultural, or crop protection.  Experience with global product markets and selling to the government sector is a plus.
  • Experience in the development and execution of business strategy.
  • Ability to use market data and other analytics to inform short, mid, and long term strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead activities, influence direction, and execute strategy and plans across a diverse team of subject matter experts. 
  • Proven experience in managing day-to-day relationships with external partners
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools & programs (including, but not limited to, TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and SAP or similar ERP systems.  Knowledge of FastTrack, Microsoft Projector similar project management software a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills, including experience having independently presented to the Senior Management level
  • Ability to effectively partner with management, subordinate staff and cross-functional teams to meet performance objectives and to support mission and vision of the Company.
