Please note: The territory for this position is Eastern New York not Long Island, Northern New Jersey and Vermont.

To support this challenge, we are currently seeking a Sales Territory Manager for the Professional Solutions team in Syngenta’s New York/New Jersey/Vermont Territory.

 

The Territory Sales Manager will manage turf territory and maximize sales efforts in golf, sod, sports turf and lawn care markets.

Accountabilities

    Develop trust as well as a solid working relationship with the key end users in the territory. Develop trust as well as a collaborative relationship with distribution in the territory. Position and establish new products as well as grow existing product portfolio. Prioritize top end-users and distributor sales rep field calls


Requirements

    A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related field. A minimum of 2 years in field experience in a sales or a technical capacity. Ability to drive up to 50% of the time within territory.

Preferred Requirements

    Possess technical knowledge of product portfolio and competitive products in the market.  Ability to recognize competitive activities in the marketplace and know how to effectively minimize impact without compromising profit targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to demonstrate innovative skills to develop new product and positioning opportunities for Syngenta.
