The Engineer 3 responsibilities include:

Ensuring equipment availability and reliability of a production unit in the St. Gabriel plant. Maintain assigned unit in good operating condition mechanical, electrical & instrumentation areas, with help of internal and external resources within budget constraints. Establish good communication with customers, and control expenses. Implement improvement measures, be responsible for small capital disbursements, participate & support plant wide safety and environmental initiatives.



    Mechanical integrity of unit/plant. Maintain a safe & environmetally sound working environment aid to continuously improve it. Operate within alloted budget. Initiate and control capitalizations. Be customer focused without losing track of business needs. continously improve working processes. Equipment reliability improvements.  



    B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required; experience in related field is a plus. Learn and understand plant policies, procedures and systems. Build working relationships with team members, customers and plant personnel. Learn to manage a budget and apply technical solutions to equipment problems. Communication, team leadership and technical understanding.


Preferred Requirements

    Previous plant expereience desired but not required.
