Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • In-house legal department experience across a broad range of specialties

  • Conduct legal research

  • Work on legal department projects

  • Interact and network with the broader Syngenta community to obtain supporting information for projects


Skills:

Qualifications:


  • Student must be pursuing a law degree at an accredited law school

  • Ideal candidate will have completed the first year of law school prior to the internship

  • Fluent in English

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
Additional Knowledge, Skills, Traits & Abilities:


  • Eagerness to learn and contribute

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience conducing legal research LEXIS or Westlaw

  • Communication - The ability to communicate information well both written and spoken is highly desired in this position

  • Collaboration - The ability to work with individuals who come from diverse backgrounds

  • Adaptable - The ability to work well with ambiguous/undefined problems

  • Inquisitive - Not afraid to ask bold questions and be curious
