of our planet. To support that challenge, we are currently seeking an Export
Management Associate in Pasco, WA.

will help shape the future of agriculture by:

  • Pro-actively and
    efficiently manage and communicate international and domestic customer
    orders, samples, trials and deliveries, invoices, phytosanitary
    certificates and other export documents, as needed; ensuring the best
    possible service and handling is performed and tracked in an organized
  • Work cross
    functionally within Syngenta and specifically the Vegetables organization
    to coordinate all aspects of international customers shipments, internal
    stock transfer orders, third party warehousing and vendor related
    logistics. Including review of supply arrangements pre and post season
  • Actively support
    continuous and focused improvements and standardization initiatives,
    ensuring documentation is updated accordingly
  • Monitor and
    process KPIs to ensure acceptable supply performance
  • Review and improve
    customer experience related controls and provide input as required on open
  • Pro-actively
    research country requirements to ensure compliant and timely exportation
    and importation of Syngenta products globally
  • Responsible for
    the generating, supplying or coordinating documentation required to comply
    with domestic and international trade regulations (e.g., pro forma
    invoices, order confirmations, phytosanitary certificates, non-GMO, export
    filings, import permits, etc.)
  • Represent supply
    operations, international logistics and compliance in internal and
    external meetings and project work.
  • Work with other
    team members on assigned projects.

  • Accountabilities
  • Manage
    and follow all legal, regulatory, and phytosanitary compliance activities
    for the international trade of vegetable seeds
  • Provide
    and manage customer service to Syngenta affiliates and third-party vendors
    / customers
  • Engage,
    coordinate, and execute cross functionally with Supply Planning,
    Production, Processing, Lab, Shipping all stages of an order and delivery
  • Engage
    and work closely with freight forwarders to ship materials or seeds
    on-time to customers at the best value to Syngenta and our customers
  • Communicate
    regularly with key stakeholders and vendors / customers on latest status
    of orders
  • Support
    and drive continuous improvements in respective areas, ensuring the
    management of change process is utilized
  • Understand,
    monitor, and review KPIs to ensure supply performance
  • Proactively engage
    in the customer complaint and non-conformity processes to drive process improvement
    activities and root cause investigations
  • Work with Trade
    Compliance to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations

  • Skills:

    • High school education
    • Minimum of two years business experience in
      Supply Chain Operations, Logistics, or International Business Exports or
      similar area.
    • Working
      knowledge of international regulations
    • Knowledge
      of SAP a plus
    • Higher
      Education a plus
    • Ability
      to workdays, evenings and weekends
    • Must
      have valid Drivers License
    • All
      applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
    • Must
      be able to travel by car or plane
    • Ability
      to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
    • Ability
      to operate standard office equipment including phone, copier, and computer
