We are excited to announce our newly launched Digital Agriculture Intern position! This is a field-based role with locations throughout the Midwest Corn belt.

The Digital Agriculture intern program will be an elite experiential learning opportunity. As a Digital Agriculture Intern, you will spend approximately 3 months with our Digital Enablement team working closely with our sales and agronomy teams in support of our grower customers.  

What Will You be Doing?

  • Developing proficiency in proper digital product use for recommendations, product features and benefits, and testing emerging scouting tools. 
  • Work on a specific project the will have direct business impact in the future.
  • Partnering with Farm Success Managers to position Syngenta on the farm for an improved customer experience
  • Developing retailer and grower relationships and attending customer meetings to deepen understanding of customer needs
  • Building a network of professionals for learning, career development, and collaboration opportunities 
  • Incorporating digital technologies i.e. digital imagery, drones, yield mapping into data capture and solutions

Who Are We Looking For? Our ideal candidates are enrolled in a College of Agriculture degree program with a specialization in crop/soil science, agronomy, or sales and have relevant farm experience with a PASSION for Digital Tools to drive farm productivity. You will have demonstrated a strong commitment to agriculture in your academic career, enthusiastically taken on leadership opportunities in your extracurricular activities, and you are driven by a sincere passion and natural curiosity for science, crop protection products, advocacy, and storytelling. 

Requirements:

  • Actively enrolled in aa Agriculture-related degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Digital Ag acumen
  • Farm knowledge/experience 
  • A valid drivers license

Additional Information:

  • Travel requirements, 20 to 40%
