Sylvite Agri-Services is looking for a Sales Representative to help drive growth at our Port Albert location. This role is for someone who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and owning their accounts from first conversation through long-term partnership.

About the Role
This is a true business development role with autonomy, responsibility, and room to grow. You will be trusted to promote and sell crop inputs while building strong, long-term relationships with growers. This role combines strategic sales planning with hands-on agronomic support, including soil sampling, fertilizer and crop protection recommendations, field visits, and ongoing customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Effectively present, promote, and sell Sylvite products and services to existing and prospective grower customers
• Implementation of crop input planning to meet individual grower needs – including soil samples, fertilizer and crop protection recommendations, field visits
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other branches when necessary
• Actively participate in continuous learning opportunities for sales, seed, and crop protection
• Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on quotes for approval by the branch manager, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
• Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines

About You

• 3+ years in a sales related position
• 3+ years in Agriculture or a related industry
• University/College degree or diploma in agriculture or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office software, specifically Excel
