Seneca Foods in Baraboo Wisconsin is currently seeking an intern to join the Tech Services Team for Summer of 2027!

Summary: Assists with a variety of tasks to support daily functions, improve efficiency and contribute to ongoing projects at the location.

Responsibilities:

Assist with R & D activities involving alternative can coating materials, steel substrate thickness, and material tempers.
Prepare, organize, and evaluate test packs used to assess shelf life, product compatibility, material performance, and runnability.
Label, track, and maintain accurate records of test pack samples in accordance with established processes.
Assist with the evaluation of customer quality complaints, including organizing and logging incoming complaint samples.
Assist with the implementation and ongoing development of BRC Packaging Standards at the Baraboo facility.
Work closely with Technical, Quality, and other facility personnel to support continuous improvement and food safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
