JOB TITLE: Crushing & Screening Maintenance Technician 

  POSITION TYPE: Permanent - Full time  

  POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 1 

  BRANCH: Grande Prairie, AB - 15709 - 101 St., T8V 0P2

  REPORTING TO: Service Sales Manager 

  

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include: 

  

  • Diagnose and inspect various rock crushing and screening equipment for faults and malfunctions
  • Repair and adjust equipment, and replace defective parts in accordance with manufactures
  • specifications
  • Perform updates, customer and warranty inspections, and pre-season inspections
  • Complete work orders and enter technician notes into computer
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with personnel from various divisions and vendors
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety standards as the company is committed to the
  • protection and wellness of its employees 

  

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:   

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision with the capability of make appropriate decisions under
  • stressful circumstances and / or tight deadlines
  • Must be fluent in the English language
  • Experience maintaining rock crushing and screening equipment required
  • Experience working with Metso equipment a strong asset
  • Must possess acute problem solving skills
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Two to three years' work experience in a related market and / or industry
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and be physically active on the job for extended periods of time
  • Ability to travel to client sites and work outdoors, as required
