Key Responsibilities

Complete general in-and-out tasks throughout the facility to support daily operations
Assist with routine sanitation to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform small maintenance tasks and basic equipment upkeep
Monitor and maintain operational equipment to ensure functionality
Support Embrex operations when needed
Follow all safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity protocols
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Any additional tasks assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills

Ability to lift 20-40 lbs consistently
Ability to push equipment up to 500 lbs
Basic math and writing skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of the facility

Ability to perform in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a hatchery setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness

Work Environment

This role operates within a hatchery environment requiring adherence to strict sanitation, safety, and biosecurity standards. Tasks may involve standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and working around equipment and livestock for extended periods.
