We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the reliability, performance, and safety of our production equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
Identify parts and equipment requiring repair or replacement.
Utilize shop mathematics to complete maintenance assignments accurately.
Read and interpret equipment drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
Respond promptly to production issues involving mechanical equipment.
Communicate effectively with production management and team members to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
Perform preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Complete assigned work efficiently while managing time and resources effectively.
Follow all company safety, food safety, and quality standards.
What You'll Need:
Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred
Experience: Maintenance experience required; minimum of 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Skills: Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems; General math skills required to perform maintenance duties; Ab ility to read and interpret documents , drawings, sche matics ; Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements; Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends as needed; Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical requirements: Ability to work in extreme C ol d/Hot temperatures , ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day and lift 50 bs or more.
