Warehouse Labourer

Halifax, NS

4 month term (May 1st August 30th)

Reporting to the Packing and Warehouse Supervisor or designate, the Warehouse Worker performs duties that include safety, housekeeping and operations contributing to the maintenance of efficient production.


• Assist Packer Operators
• Palletize bagged products at the end of packing lines
• Re-palletize bagged products to meet warehousing requirements
• Refeed products that are not up to specifications
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping
• Cleaning, brushing, sweeping and vacuuming accumulated flour dust
• Abide by all relevant procedures


• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Must be able to work shift work and weekends
• Able to work at various heights and in confined spaces
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset
• Strong written oral skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
