This is a 12 month term position.
What you will do:
Support the development and execution of a certification program for Low Carbon Ammonia in concert with the Ammonia Energy Association
Support other high potential opportunities to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions including, but not limited to, the development of R&D research pilots and evaluation of emerging technologies
Act as overall project support for the Low Carbon Ammonia Certification Effort
Organize all meetings and working sessions
Communicate meeting minutes, actions and deliverables
Maintain overall project schedule
Work closely with 3rd party support to operationalize the certification process
Grow into your role and actively contribute to the certification effort based on your passion, experience, and interests
What you will bring:
University Degree (in-progress ok – i.e. co-op)
Experience, Education or Demonstrated ability in one or more of the following areas:
Greenhouse gas life-cycle analysis (i.e. Well to Gate or Wheel to Wheels) or Carbon Accounting (i.e Scope 1, 2, and 3 analysis)
Regulatory/Legal experience with respect to commoditization/trading of environmental attributes such as renewable energy credits, virtual power purchase agreements, carbon offsets, etc.
Building programs industry can execute/follow based upon complex regulatory requirements
A keen focus on contributing to a strong culture of safety, diversity and inclusion
Passion, energy and the desire to be a change agent and inspire others
Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Experience with managing a project with multiple stakeholders would be considered an asset.
Strong aptitude for Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Onedrive, Power BI, Sharepoint) or equivalent software
