What you will do:
  • Plant operation (Z Train, Steam Boiler and MAP) within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations
  • Spot, inspect, load, and unload railcars and trucks
  • Complete required paperwork to release railcars and trucks from the plant within the EPA, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation
  • Operate track mobile to move cars and sample products
  • Perform startup, normal operation, shutdown, and emergency situations within the Department
  • Inspection and clean up of various equipment
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance, perform troubleshooting, and take appropriate action to correct errors
  • Operate Payloader, Manlift, and other mobile equipment as necessary to perform all tasks of position
What you will bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Expertise in operating the area equipment within the standard operation conditions and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating work with the shift schedule
  • The Florida Ready to Work Silver Certificate or equivalent is required for all hourly applicants of Nutrien. Applicants must complete this assessment and meet a minimum of a Silver Credential with a 4 in Applied Mathematics, 4 in Reading for Information and 4 in Locating Information to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien. The assessment is offered for no cost at any Careersource office.
    • The Florida Ready to Work Certificate must be uploaded with your resume during your application to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien
