This role is ideal for someone who loves working outdoors, travelling, meeting farmers, operating specialised agricultural equipment and growing a genuine interest in modern agriculture with Nutrien

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Precision Services Manager, you'll enjoy the freedom and flexibility of working autonomously across your designated territory, planning customer visits and managing your daily schedule. While this role requires the ability to work independently and manage your workload autonomously, you'll be backed by a friendly, supportive, and experienced team who are committed to helping you succeed. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating a soil sampling buggy and associated equipment
  • Conducting soil sampling and other field-based agronomy activities
  • Travelling to customer properties and agricultural sites
  • Building positive relationships with growers and customers both over the phone and on-farm
  • Planning and coordinating customer visits to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Collecting and recording accurate field data
  • Working safely in a range of farming environments and weather conditions
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring vehicles are kept in good working order
  • Providing a high level of customer service and professionalism

What You'll Bring:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A current Driver's Licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Confidence working directly with farmers and rural customers
  • A willingness to travel regularly throughout the region
  • Flexibility to undertake overnight travel and periods away from home
  • A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail

What You'll Get:

  • Purpose-Driven Work – Make an impact as part of a global team supporting agriculture and going further for Australian farmers
  • Competitive Pay & Benefits - Access a competitive pay package, access to employee discounts and offers, and recognition for great performance
  • Learn and Grow Your Career – Work alongside knowledgeable teams and gain valuable experience through on the job training and coaching
