US Truck Dispatcher  - (Loveland, Colorado, U.S.A.)

Reports to the Senior Coordinator, US Trucking. 
What you will do:
  • Coordinate/Execute daily dispatch of truckload orders out to carriers
  • Provide rate requests for the commercial team
  • Ensure delivery of loads in the most economical manner by assisting with rate negotiations, verifying freight rates, and communicating and monitoring service level expectations
  • Interface with customers, vendors and internal employees with respect to freight rate verification and service level expectations
  • Verify mileage for truck routing to ensure the most economical routing is being utilized
  • Communicate regularly with our carriers to build strong working relationships
  • Develop and maintain carrier files, to include valid insurance requirements, valid carrier agreements, safety records, and service issues
  • Other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
  • Minimum high school diploma with valid work experience, or bachelor’s degree
  • 1 + years transportation experience preferred
  • Experience with the US trucking industry (DOT regulations) an asset
  • Working knowledge of SAP would be considered a definite asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to think strategically and to translate that into tactical action
  • Solid communicator and team player
  • High attention to detail, well organized and able to multi-task
  • Ability to creating and keep deadlines
  • Strong Problem Solving Ability
  • Desire to be accountable for results
