What you will do:
  • Safety, Health and Environmental standard compliance for the Nutrien Ag Solution facilities in CA listed above
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of safety programs, systems and procedures necessary to ensure the overall safety and security of employees
  • Works with the Facility Managers to fix and upgrade any equipment not up to standard
  • Maintains safety and maintenance records on facilities and equipment ensuring they meet and exceed legislation
  • Develop and submit weekly and ad hoc safety metrics and reports for your locations
  • Participate and manage employee safety training, and conduct contractor hazard training
  • Facilitate and participate in emergency preparedness training
What you will bring:
  • Minimum of an Associate of Arts Degree (A.A. or equivalent) and/or 2+ years related experience in an safety or operation environment
  • Ability to work well alone and with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Must have the ability to interface effectively with others so that information is professionally communicated
  • Excellent written communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to train others
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality; uses time effectively; attention to detail; well organized with ability to prioritize and be flexible
  • Travel and training may be required
  • Valid driver’s license
