What you will do:
  • Adhere to all Quality Standard Operating Procedures and processes
  • Responsible for testing of raw materials, In-process, and finished goods
  • Obtain and test samples of materials according to standard procedures to ensure compliance with established internal specifications
  • Supply testing information to corporate and send samples out
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory analysis
  • Preform daily calculations, compare lab results to expected values and report variances to supervisor.
  • Conduct instrument maintenance and calibration
  • Operate equipment, record data, and use unsupervised discretion in the evaluation of data, often working without supervision
  • Maintain QC log books with complete documentation
  • Report any quality, processing problems, and out-of-spec. conditions to the QA supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment and complete regular inventory checks of necessary lab items
  • Prepare spreadsheets analyzing data and alerts supervisor of trends in data
  • Scan, file, and keep records of all batch sheets and raw materials COAs

  • Other duties as required
What you will bring:
    2+ years experience in a laboratory, or a degree that is considered equivalent requiredAssociates degree in chemistry or a related major preferredKnowledge of Chemistry and MathematicsComputer experience necessary, including a working knowledge of MS office
