The Portfolio Manager, Plant Nutrition is a key role in the Loveland Products Marketing team. The role is responsible in the execution of the plant nutrition marketing plan and strategies designed to create a differentiated position for our commercial channel, while improving overall grower performance for both the US and Canada. The right candidate will foster Product Development, Product Management, and Brand Awareness for the Plant Nutrition portfolio working closely across multiple internal and external departments.
This role is based Loveland, CO. Relocation will be offered to the selected candidate if currently located more than 55 miles from Nutrien’s Loveland office.
What you will do:
Develop and execute positioning, promotional, and educational content for focus Plant Nutrition products
Plan and manage product launches, campaign implementation, & communication with Loveland Products Sales and Nutrien Ag Solutions network divisions and branches in coordination with Sr. Marketing Manager, Area Managers, and strategic partners
Align region and product focus by cropping systems, coordinating with the marketing & sales teams on inter-dependent projects and campaigns
Product development – collaborate with project teams across multiple departments in the stage gate process from gap analysis and ideation to pre & post commercialization
Product management –manage the product portfolio across Tech Services, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing Services
Coordinate and oversee regulatory lifecycle management with the Regulatory team and Marketing Managers
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing or other related field; experience may be considered in lieu of education
10+ years of relevant experience required, experience in the agricultural industry (including ag retail/input supplier), product & marketing experience, and agronomic experience preferred
Ability to travel up to 50%
A passion for Plant Nutrition and driving Plant Performance
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $128,000-$156,000. This range is estimated for the Portfolio Manager, Plant Nutrition position in Loveland, Colorado.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan, which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
