What you will do:
Lead strategic crop planning and management for target crops
  • Ensure and collaborate to build annual business plan to deliver profitable market share growth for Canola, Rice, Cotton, Sorghum, Cereals, Cover Crops, Grass Crops, Vegetable seed  
Ownership of seeds strategic supplier management, collaborations and negotiations
  • Develop, gain alignment and execute on seeds strategy by crop
  • Owner of Canola, Rice, Cotton, Sorghum, Cereals, Cover Crops, Grass Crops, Vegetables seeds strategy
  • Leader of seeds operating units by crop in collaboration with marketing and supply chain teams
  • Owner of Canola, Rice, Cotton, Sorghum, Cereals, Cover Crops, Grass Crops, Vegetables operation units with country ownership
Collaborate for solution ideation, development and negotiation
  • Internal collaboration with Fertilizer, Crop Protection, Digital, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and etc
  • Internal collaboration with countries, regions and divisions
  • External collaboration with strategic suppliers and adjacent players
Support global seeds strategy development and lead secondary crop operating units
  • Develop, gain alignment and execute on seeds strategy by crop
  • Owner of Canola, Rice, Cotton, Sorghum, Cereals, Cover Crops, Grass Crops, Vegetables seeds crop strategies
  • Leader of seeds operating units by crop, region and country
Accountable for seeds execution and planning
  • Ensure all crop plans are built in alignment with the crop strategy and monitor execution to deliver the plan
  • Accountable for Canola, Rice, Cotton, Sorghum, Cereals, Cover Crops, Grass Crops, Vegetables crop plans in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Accountable for seeds execution and planning for crop regions and divisions in collaboration with Regional Seeds Managers
What you will bring:
    Bachelor’s degree in an Agricultural based field strongly desiredMinimum of 10 years progressive experience in seed facility management, distribution and people managementA combination of education and skills will be consideredMust have the ability to work with and maintain a good working relationship with a diverse employee and customer baseEffectively demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, assertiveness and results orientationMust have the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environmentDemonstrate the ability to manage multiple people, priorities and projects simultaneouslyMust have excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skillsMust have excellent leadership skillsAbility to travel as needed. Required travel estimated between 40-50%Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen are required
