Ideal candidate is responsible for building, maintaining, and deepening relationships with new and existing clients.  Resulting in the generation of quality commercial, mortgage and/or agricultural loans. 

Essential Functions:

• Development of strategic relationships with outside individuals and agencies for leads and referrals by marketing and promoting products and services in order to recruit new bank business.
• Responsible for meeting with clients to obtain information for loan applications and determine which financial products best meet the client’s needs and financial circumstances; advise clients regarding investment and loan strategies in order for them to make sound risk decisions.
• Prepare documents for loans, including obtain and compile credit histories, financial statements, and other financial information.
• Review loan documents to ensure they are complete and accurate according to the bank policy.
• Approve loans within specified limits and present loan applications outside those limits to the Officer Committee or Board of Directors for approval.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow and trends analysis on a regular basis.
• Monitor existing loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problems. Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• Previous experience in customer service, sales or the agriculture industry preferred, but not required
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Self-motivated
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong technical skills; Proficient with Microsoft applications
