Job Seeker Testimonial: AgCareers.com Helps Job Seeker Get Started in the Industry

As college graduation began approaching, Lindsey Tulloch was on the hunt for a career in the agriculture industry so she turned to AgCareers.com. “I heard about AgCareers.com at a job fair held at Cal Poly,” Tulloch said. She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agricultural Systems Management with a minor in Agribusiness and a concentration in Beef Production.

While job searching on AgCareers.com, Tulloch applied for a position with Tasteful Selections - a grower, packer, and shipper of specialty baby potatoes based out of Bakersfield, California. She was soon hired on as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager. In this position, Tulloch manages potato and seed potato quality, food safety, as well as packaging inventory.

A few years after starting her new job, Tulloch met AgCareers.com President Eric Spell at the World Ag Expo and told him about her experience with the site. “Out of all the companies using AgCareers.com for finding employees, I mentioned my company’s name and he knew exactly who we were and even the name of our account representative,” Tulloch recalled.
