  • Track performance by customer, channel, product, and geography to evaluate mix improvement and profitability outcomes.
  • Analyze customer and product profitability using financial models, cost sheets, and data analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Partner with Global Marketing to develop and manage investment plans, monitor spending against budget, and evaluate the return on marketing campaigns, launches, and promotional activities.
  • Lead Commercial content for month-end, quarterly, executive, and Board reporting, providing clear analysis of variances, business performance, and key financial drivers.
  • Build, review, challenge, and support business cases for new products, innovation platforms, and strategic investments, including financial return analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Track innovation and platform performance against approved business cases, highlighting variances, root causes, and corrective actions to business leaders.
  • Support the annual operating plan, budgeting, and forecasting processes across Commercial, R&D, and Marketing functions.
  • Partner with Corporate FP&A to align planning, forecasting, and reporting processes where responsibilities overlap.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and decision support capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to automate recurring pricing, profitability, and commercial analyses, enabling greater self-service reporting and higher-value finance support.

What you’ll need to be successful.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent) and/or MBA preferred.
  • Seven or more years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or related finance roles.
  • Experience supporting Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Innovation, or Manufacturing organizations within a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building, evaluating, and challenging business cases for new products, investments, and growth initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of customer profitability, product profitability, pricing strategies, cost structures, and financial performance drivers.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Microsoft Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with enterprise planning and reporting systems such as SAP, OneStream, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with analytics and data visualization tools, including Power BI.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting processes.
  • Exposure to AI, process automation, or digital finance transformation initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
